Internet Browser
Hello all,
Little bit behind with Amiga browsers. Currently have Aweb3.2demo and Voyager 3.2 installed. Looking for something recent and supported that is generally all round "usable" in todays online environment. Running on a 68030@50 16mb ram, native video. |

Nice one, I'll look into those. Forgot to mention, running Workbench 3.1.
I'm a "Classic Man" Well my pad is very messy, and there's whiskers on my chin. And I'm all hung up on Amigas, and I always play to win. I ain't got no time for lovin', cause my time is all used up. Just to sit around creatin', all that groovy kind of stuff. I'm a classic man, yes I am, and I can't help, but love Amigas'. I'm a man, yes I am, and I can't help, but love Amigas'. Skippy |

I'm trying to login to eab.abime.net using AWEB 2, goes to a redirecting page then back to the main page, and won't let me in
Just looking to see if there are any EAB FAQs for browser support. |

I would also like to see Ibrowse uploaded to the zone. I'd love to buy Ibrowse, but it seems that it may be unavailable for a very long time, so now there's no way to get hold on it (exept the demo version) !!!

The Ibrowse demo is actually very usable.
Its main limitation is one browser screen at a time, and max 30mins use. (at which point you close it and start it again). Apparently development of Ibrowse 3 is proceeding, but slowly. I reckon they have sold the name to Apple.... Ibrowse the new iPod browser.... |

Why would anyone want to go through the pain of using an Amiga web-browser?
They are slightly useful in those very rare times where you are at a show or a party or something and you only have your Amiga with you. 99% of the time its easier and more fun just to switch to a MAC/PC. If your Amiga is networked to your PC and you have a GFX card you can always open a window on the Amiga which is the web-browser running on a remote machine! (Amiga VNC, X11 or Remote Desktop) No-one has an Amiga as their main computer anymore, certainly not an 030 based one. |

Yum Yums
"IBrowse 2.4 is temporarily unavailable for purchase. Apologies for any inconvenience."
Hmm, not much use is it! Does anyone know how much it is? I would like to purchase a Key File to unlock Ibrowse 2.4, because I like it. Seems to be the most stable Browser for myself. Plus it has SSL support, and loads of useful addons @ aminet.net. Just wish I could get SSL working for MSN Hotmail BitlBee Daemon. |
