Cliffhanger

I am stuck in Cliffhanger by Psygnosis.
There is a level where I have to go upwards on ladders and jump from block to block while rocks keep falling down randomly ( this is complete shit since you don't have any chance to avoid them )
But anyway, if I am very lucky I reach a point where I cannot go upwards any further, because the next block where I could stand is just too far above so that it isn't possible to jump that high. There is also wooden bridge below.

Does anyone know how to get past this section ?
I suppose I have to activate the pair of boots somehow, which I found in the first level. I think this boots may be 'high-jumping-boots' and could help to finish this level.

Thanks for your help, guys ! ( and girls, ofcourse )

Lightbulb A levelskip will help

There is one more soul in this world who has played this crap game: me!
I too have never managed to jump to that other cliff on the top of level 2. I suppose this is a bug in the game.

Anyway, in such case I usually use the Cliffhanger level-skip cheat:
Type ultimate lives to enable cheat mode, with invincibility and other effects. Press [F1] through [F6] to advance to the corresponding level, or press [F10] to advance to the next stage.

Good luck. Oh by the way, during the game you will have to fight an enemy boss. Once you have shot him, you jump on his body and will slide down a snowhill. This animation is so badly animated, it looks hilarious!

funny thing... try playing the NES version of this game! i did make the difficult jump, unfortunately it's very tricky and can't remember how exactly i did it. my plan was that by playing the NES version i would hopefully be provided some clues as what to do in the AMIGA version. i'm going to try the NES version once again!
