IDEFix '97

I *think* my cdrom mod is near done - it has its own external powersupply working and when the amiga is off the buttons do nothing (despite external supply) and when its on the eject works, putting in a cd causes it to read.. etc etc, yay

So I've now gone to install IDEFix and hit a snag, it just hangs. It simply says "starting addidefix startup..." in a workbench window and has a clock icon for the mouse and that's it. If I click off its window the cursor goes back to normal and I can continue using workbench it seems, but it never completes this step and always says "installation 0% complete" in the titlebar of the window.

Any ideas?

Hi, i don't know if my problem was similar to yours but when i was transferring the IDEfix already unzipped, i couldn't install it. I had to transfer it as .lha file, then extract it to a drawer etc etc..
