i never claimed to be able to crack games. Please show me one instance where i have made that claim.

Be my guest.

The forum equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and going "la la la - i'm not listening" - or you could just answer my comments in a reasonable manner, and not get so upset about it all.
"have a crack" means to "have a go"

i'm sorry, but I find you devisive and arrogant. You question why I feel the need to 'defend' myself, yet take no responsibility for the manner in which you direct your messages, which provoke that very response from me.

Like I said, we're done here, I find you incredibly annoying, and in a fit of absolute boredom, i'm not going to have a great big row with you about it, because I just don't care to anymore.

We're done here, take the message, take the hint.

yes, i'm aware to the phrase... but your point is? the game in question still requires cracking though in order to be WHDload installed. Something i've never laid claim to having the knowledge to do.

I wasn't referring to the "have a crack" comment.

Someone else might do a better version? I'll leave that comment unanswered

I take full responsibility over the comments i've made. I've raised a couple of questions and highlighted a few inconsistancies, providing links, dates and all.

oh are we done here? I was confused because you were still replying.

well returning to native thread ,

tested your beta 6 , and all seems perfect , load , save , substitutions , quitkey !!

just one question , perhaps fc.studio will answer , when you want to change a tactic during a match , do you see on screen the tactics ?
I ask that because when i use the F4 F5 F6 F7 nothing seems to happen , that when playing a match or watching.

Thanks

Thanks for testing. Now I wonder if anybody else has problems with loading/saving because I think that it might be a problem on fc.studio's end (wrong hd settings or something?).

I just checked with the disk version, you don't see anything when you press F4-F7. Not sure if these keys even do anything during a game.

If I had an icon I would have attached a pre-installed version but since I don't have one yet and don't feel like stealing one I didn't. However, I assume you have the PM2 adf images? If so, just rename them to disk.1/disk.2/disk.3 and copy the slave into the directory where you have the disk images. Then open a shell, change to the directory where you have the slave/images and type "whdload PlayerManager2ECS.slave" and you can enjoy the game. Hope that helps, if not, lolafg will probably create a "ready to play" package for you.

Nice to hear you got it to work. Does load/save work for you?

The disk.4 seems to be automatic created (if not present) by your slave when game is loading after WHDLoad launch.

@lolafg
You can change tactics only during a substitution and before pressing enter to confirm the player you selected by cursor keys. The selected tactic will be displayed.
I believe this is a very deep soccer manager game, but unfortunately arcade section is, in my opinion, no good. A great limitation is that you can't change tactics when you want during the match, but only during the (only 2) substitutions.

Nah, why should I hate you? This thread is for reporting problems with the PM2 patch so no need to worry or apologize!
However, I still think it is a problem on your end since I am unable to reproduce it (and nobody else has this problem). Can you try this please: Copy everything to RAM: and then start the patch from RAM disk so saves will also be done in RAM. Do you still have the same problem then?

Yes, the slave creates it if it doesn't exist. What I meant however was that the actual save game is broken (I checked it), there is a lot of data missing so it was not saved correctly.

I did how you suggested and load & save work perfectly!

Sorry you wasted time for me only. But please do you know what's wrong in my system? I've OS3.9, 2GB CF, Blizzard 1230/IV + 16 MB. I never had problems before!

Check out your hard drives Max Transfer rate, it might be set too high causing large files to not be written properly.
