Well, I'm near the end of my current patches now (about to release my last WIPs in the next week or two) - do you have a copy you can send me?

Okay, thanks for the images! I love the loading system - should prove an interesting install.. Now we'll see just how well-coded the game is ;-)

I've finally found some time again to start working on installs. I'm going to be finishing off Dizzy's Excellent Adventure this evening - then I'll see about this one. From memory I'd gotten much of it to work, but it uses separate code fragments for different sections of the game, making it very irritating to patch. More news soon, hopefully.

Very nice to have you working on installs again Mike. There's no rush though, have a beer, some nachos and relax.

As there weren't any news here for quite some time I decided to create a Pango slave myself today. You can download the beta here: Pango WHD (beta). I've removed the copyprotection and the slave seems to work fine for me but I did only test it on UAE so far. Please test it on your Amigas and report any problems. Here are the level codes:
atabaques hydromantia tintinnabulum alumbrados phloghistos omphalos Have fun. |

Just tested it on my real machine. Only a short test, but all levels seems to be ok.
Can you remove the complete protection screen? You have to enter some letters every time, when you use a new password. |

Thanks for the feedback, removing the complete protection screen should be possible, I'll check that. I'll also add some trainers later.

Thanks, sorry you have to pimp-slap me with a pm to get my attention...
Works great in the newest WinUAE, tested on my real A1200 equivalent (030/32MB) and the Highend config. Both work great... at least up to the first two levels Serious testing on me real Amy coming soon :] |

Testing on A1200 with Blizz030/50MHz/32MB
Everything works fine, but with MMU enabled I got this error message right after the intro screen: Exception "Access Fault" ($B008) PC = $614A Wrong Read from $F000009D Enabling CACHE works OK but has no visible advantage Yeah, I know "WHDLoad Pango.slave preload" works great |

Where/when does this access fault happen exactly? Before the menu is loaded?

Yes, exactly right after the intro, no loading/please wait screen.
I wouldn't worry about it so much, this is one of those Shoonay's-Amiga-only errors that I've encountered with Codetapper's "Devious Desings" slave too when enabling MMU. |
