Death Trap & Idea Games

About 15 years ago (sigh!) I played a game named Death Trap
from Anco with a good intro.
Then I remember some nice games with good gfx from Idea like
Cattivik, Champion Driver, Lupo Alberto, Sturmtruppen and
Sword & Galeons.
Can anyone from the WHDLoad team try to install it?
It wold be much appreciated. Thanks!

@Galahad: Nice to hear that you restarted with Death Trap today. But could you please tell me when you're planning to send me the disks back which I sent to you more than 2 years (!!!) ago or when you'll release this unreleased Amiga game called "Daemonenburg" to the public, which was on one of those disks? It would also be nice if you could read PMs. Thank you.

Fear not, I've moved house (again), and as soon as I unpack everything, it will all be sorted.

Is Death Trap so hard to install? I hope to find it in the zone soon.

I'd be pretty embarrassed if it took fc.studio more than about 5 minutes to install this "easy" game - after all it's only one disk and a 512k game! The complexity of installs are directly related to the number of disks and how crap the gameplay is

... and how bad the programming! ("The Plague")

Moreover, there is never a 100% warranty that after a "quick'n dirty install" this "mere 512k game" also works on, say, 060 Amigas.

I'm sorry Galahad/FLT, but my intention was not to be offensive
to you. I really asked if this game is hard to install for you
(for me it's impossible) because I didn't know if it needed to be fixed too.

All your free time for WHDLoad is much appreciated but not
surely pretended by me.

I beg your pardon again!

Refering to the WHDLoad page, Cfou is requesting the original game so if someone own it i think everybody should be happy to send him an image version i think i got one MFM but as my hd crash before i make a backup...

PS : i've done an icon for it look at EAB download page

Death Trap

A cool 2D platform gem from Anco way back in 1990. Best described as a cross between First Samurai and Prince Of Persia. The game has a scrolling title screen with suitably atmospheric music. In game you get smooth scrolling, bright backgrounds and great colourful sprites. Upgrade your weapons using potions and face huge end of level bosses. Not enough? How about a two player option. That's also available. I definately missed this classic first time round and IMHO this game deserves a WHDLoad to be written for it.

Nearly there, just a few more bugs that are proving tricky to trace, Death Trap is almost there!

While writing a tutorial how to crack this game I got bored and hacked a whdload slave as well. You can find the installed game in The Zone. Please test it and report any bugs you find. The slave supports the following tooltypes/arguments:

CUSTOM1=1: skips the intro
CUSTOM2=1: unlimited lives
CUSTOM3=1: unlimited energy

Source is attached as usual.

I'm just playing it. Good that you made some trainers. The ememies act very unfair. Looks like "Gods Light".
