UAE was the name of the first "Ubiquitous Amiga Emulator" for Unix. WinUAE was originally the port of UAE to Windows, much as DosUAE was the port to DOS and MacUAE the port to Mac OS. So it's quite acceptable to refer to WinUAE as UAE for Windows, and "UAE for the Win!" is just a development of that. prowler |

(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UAE_(emulator)) But the "Unusable" was considered with respect, due to the great difficulties of creating a working Amiga emulator. Many thought it impossible to do . |

You'll have to drop the version number too, unless someone is willing to modify it everytime there is a new version
Edit: You know, all these ideas are cool, but I was actually thinking of creating some fancy text for the word 'WinUAE'. Something like the Demoscene logo's but design it myself, if I've got enough imagination Last edited by DH; 13 May 2009 at 12:46. |

First result
As I believe, there needs to be some kind of nostalgia to the logo, so that's what I did. Now guess where the bits come from from Last edited by DH; 13 May 2009 at 16:34. |

I like the way it can be greatly magnified without becoming too pixellated.
