Retina Z2 help.

I wanted to run Workbench on my A2000 with higher colors and no flicker.

Today I received a Retina Z2 video card w/4mb ram.

It installed well, and the software install seemed OK.

Here are some questions:

1. Should using this card free up some chip ram. Or at least use the cards memory for things like the background picture, etc?

2. I read somewhere (many places) that retinaemu is rubbish. Some places said to use GVP ecs drivers.
I downloaded all 5 disks (dms format) and disk 3 is unreadable (i couldn't open it in winuae or convert it to the hfe format for my floppy emulator).

A. Does anyone have disk 3
B. Will it work?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I had one of these and was very disappointed with it and opted for a Picasso II instead.

Any proper RTG card with pass through like ECS Spectrum would be a better option.

Sorry I can't help with the driver disk, I used on the retina emu modes. I seem to recall being able to user a 256col Workbench in a fairly decent resolution but had issues running a lot of software.

My goal for this card is mainly for Workbench. For games, I will use my trusty 1084s monitor.
