You need the AMOS (or AMOS Pro) Compiler, then run your program through that. It was available separately.

Yes, ajk is correct.

Sometimes quirks with the compiler caused issues when compiling the .exe, but most of them are minor.

If you have any other problems feel free to post them here and we will help you.

Resurrecting an old thread rather than creating a new one.................

Does anyone know if there was an AmosPro Compiler (or update) greater than V2.00?

As I find that there are some pretty bad problems with Gr Writing and/or BOB timings which render my (compiled) program useless, although running it from the editor is fine.

TIA

V1

Not yet. Development continued on Ultimateamiga.co.uk of environment. Compiler may follow.

@Samurai_Crow Thanks for that, It's a pity that the compiler doesn't handle some things correctly but I'm looking for a work-around.

Although, to be honest, the compiler doesn't even seem to speed things up much in the first place.

That depends on what you are doing. For some things there will be very little difference, but for other things it can be much faster.

Oh yeah, It's great for most things which don't access the screen, I have to admit.
