Copying PC toAmiga

I'm going to buy one of those 4GB CF HDs and I'm wondering the best and easiest ways to copy data from one to the other (nearly always PC to Amiga)

I was wondering if I get one of those PCMCIA adaptors for CF cards whether WinUAE will be able to read it but the other question is, how would I plug the CF card into the Amiga if the CF card I'm using will be fitted internally to the A1200?

This has probably been answered a million times before but I'm finding it difficult to pinpoint what I need.

Many thanks.

Hi,

yes, that should work. As well as you can take any normal harddrive from your Amiga and let it WinUAE find and work with it.

I wrote "should", because depending on the CF-Card you use the Amiga and the PC will like or dislike the card. There are several diskussions going on, which cards are the best (Fujitsu vs. Kingston, SanDisk vs. Lexar, ...)

Better check that before you buy a CF-card. Take a known-good one.

Yeah, I would suggest Steve's service as well - he will set it up exactly as you want and he turns things around quickly as well.

I like your site Yesideez!

Thanks but I don't have original Workbench disks any more

I also tried registering on AmiBay but it won't let me - says I'm a spammer - have used their Contact Us page and waiting for a reply :/
