Recommendations for a 'boot menu' tool?

Can anybody recommend a good boot menu tool? I'm going to use it on an A1200HD w/ 8MB Fast, so it doesn't need to be the smallest and/or fastest executable the world has ever seen...

Here's what I have in mind:

- completely usable with keyboard only
- opens a seperate screen
- sub menus (or a possibility to simulate these, e.g. by running another instance of the program)
- should display up to 25 entries on screen
- it wouldn't hurt if looked 'cool'

I have tried pretty much everything available on Aminet, does anybody have further recommendations?

Try a program called nucleus. It's not a boot menu, it's a program to easily write you own custom ones

I have Version 1.0a if you want a copy, there were rumours of an update but I never managed to get a copy - after many attempts to contact the author / publisher.

btw it's not gfxcard friendly

it's exe's are fine on gfx card screens but the progam itself crashes...

I use the 'arcade game selector'. It currently only supports a joystick/joypad to choose items but the source code is there if you want to allow keyboards to be used. I had example screenshots on www.total-amiga.com but thanks to the f**king spammer they're gone.

I used to have a nice boot menu for 10 years, but now I cannot find the program anywhere.
It was called AChoice . So if someone has this proggy please upload in the Zone.

It does exactly what you asked for Korodny, we just have to find it back !!
