WinUAE debugger differences

WinUAE debugger question for you Toni:

If I set up bplcon0 with say, for example: $6200 (six bitplanes and colour bit set), the WinUAE debugger will report bplcon0 as being set as $6000 instead.

Is this by design / irrelevant or...?

Color bit does not exist in emulation. Also other write-only registers may also have "missing" bits or undefined bits set.
