Dual Display.. well sort-of!!

Not so-much a problem but advice

My 1200 setup:

Blizzard PPC 603e/040
Memory 32Mb (or is it 16mb, can't remember)
Blizzard Vision GFX (BVision)
Scsi-II on PPC
Squirrel Scsi
2xScsi CDRom
IDE HD (3.5") (Not sure of size yet!)

Right here is my query.. I got the 1200T off Ian (Swapped for a couple classic miggies) and I want it for general use and WHD!

I will be using a 17inch SVGA monitor with the bvision card, now how do I play games on it?

Does the Bvision "promote" native Amiga displays to be viewable on the monitor or is it possible to connect my 1084s monitor to the RGB of the amiga and use that for games?

What will happen if the 1084s has an 800x600 72hz (or whatever) display chucked thru it and what will happen if the game is displayed on the SVGA?

Someone please explain this to me as I don't want to kill 2 monitors!

I dont think teh BVision has a scando/flifi passthrough for native Amiga displays but I could be wrong.

No, no passthrough. The BVision will also not promote most games.

But yes, it is entirely possible to connect a 1084s to the RGB port without interfering with the BVision.

Basically, an SVGA monitor will be happy with the BVision output. The 1084s will be happy with the native Amiga output.

You need to either have two separate monitors connected, or to fit a scandoubler to make the AGA output viewable on the SVGA monitor and use a monitor switcher.

You can phone eyetech and ask them for a Scandoubler and a switch (I think it's called B-Mon) to switch between the scandoubler and the BVision output. It may cost you a few extras but it worths every single penny...
