bug with workbench 3?

Dunno if this is a bug or not but I follow the green amiga alien guide for setting up workbench 3.1 but it crashes as soon as I have set up as the instructions said and creates *.dmp files

I presume you're using the latest version (0.8.26)?

Where about does Winuae crash? (After you create a new config file? When you format hdf? When you install workbench? etc.)

I was using the latest winuae yeah. It seemed to crash whenever I tweaked with CPU settings although I did download the older version 0.825 of winuae, changed some things like the rom file to use when loading up and that went fine. In effect I think I fixed my own problem.

Hmmm...I'm not that optimistic, these might occur again. I had problems using a virus killer ('VT-Schutz') in 68040/JIT mode in 0.8.25 *and* 26 (=> guru'ed during testing the disk), and these problems are not fixed until in the latest .27 beta.

I had the same problems with the Green Amiga Alien guide and the latest Winuae.

Like Andreas said, these issues will be resolved with the next version of Winuae.
