Bograts and Penguins

Aren't these essentially the same game of sorts? I thought I read somewhere (Amiga Power?) that Vulcan were remaking Penguins a bit but with new graphics and all. Yet I can't seem to find anything online to back that up. Am I incorrect on this?

Played through Penguins last week and now I'm playing Bograts. I can tell both games are 99% the same. Even the levels are exactly the same in both games. I like Penguins more though. Brighter graphics and and you receive a password after each level.

Not sure if Bograts supposed to be this dark. The game is dark in WinUAE and the screenshots on Lemon/HOL are dark as well. While the screenshots on MobyGames and in Amiga Format are brighter.

Here is a screenshot showing how the game looks in WinUAE (left) and another one with 50%+ contrast (right). For me it looks much better with contrast.
