Amiga 3000 help diagnostics

Hi.. I have a Amiga 3000 that needs help. On power up, the screen flashes to 2 grey screens, then to black. The hard drive LED stays on. No Hard Drive attached. The keyboard LED (CAPS) works well. What area should I examine? Is it a CIA chip? I have not swapped those out yet? Would a bad denise chip cause this?
Its just odd that the HD LED stays on???

THANKS

Red – Bad Kickstart-ROM[33]
Green – No chip RAM found, or it is damaged[33]
Blue – Custom chip problem (Denise, Paula, Agnus)[33]
Yellow – Mostly a bad CPU (no trap routine) or a bad Zorro expansion card.[33] CPU exception error before the "Guru Meditation" trapping software was enabled.[32]
Light green – CIA problem[34]
Light Grey – If it stops at grey, the CIA may be defective[34]
Black/stripes – ROM or CIA problem[34]
Black – No video output.[34]
