Amiga Discord Server

If you are using discord...

If you aren't and haven't heard of it, its like IRC with voice chat and used by gamers.

Discord is not bad, but it is no replacement for IRC

Another one for IRC - WookieChat or AmIRC work great even on a 020 Amiga.

There's an IRC interface for Telegram that allows two-way comms - a great piece of work. It would be great to have something similar for Discord.

One huge advantage of Discord is persistence. You can be offline and come back and catch up on the conversation. I've been chatting with the folks who are working on IRC 3.0 trying to push for this. I guess we'll see when it's released

Suggested it to the devs of EAB quite a while ago.
Good to see that there is a DISCORD server now, for Commodore Amiga.

It's no replacement for IRC? Only depends what you use it for.

I see someone mentioned other chat platforms as IRC replacements. Forget about them, Discord beats them all!
