I remember I played it alot, but then again, I've played thousands of games, I'm still playing everything I can get my hands on, love startegy and war games.
With todays games compared , it was'nt that good, but my favorite game I played on Amiga was Kampfgruppe, but I can't find it anywhere! I've been playing games since 1979, my first computer game ever was a flight simulator (No graphics, just number readouts of different gauges) on a ZZ Spectrum, was lots of fun. My first Amiga game was Mean 18. Ive been playing games for the last 25 years nonstop, I'm 47 and still single (lot's of time in my hands, I have my own business) When I'n not playing, I'm doing 3D cad designs to run 3 CNC machines to make steel molds for jewelry and medals. |

1. Only 3D games behave the way, they "change" there visual appearance, when the user changes his specs. (most newer...but only the ones with such a "flexible" engine...only the ones that support this kinda things.. only the ones that... get the idea? )
2. Since you're playing on an emulated Amiga, why not change the res to 1280x960, coulors to 32bit, filter the graphics, interpolate the sound and stuff like that? |

This is completely UNREALISTIC, as this value would never appear with any hardware we know of. Checked back with what the original poster wrote, and it was 64k, not 65k. 64k colors = 65536 colors (hexadecimal $10000) *THIS* is the realistic one! If you intend to go from the sarcastic side with "turning on Accessibility options" and related presumptuous (?) stuff, you should at least have a little bit of knowledge about the matter! Yeah that's good old unagreeing, nitpicking andreas back into the action. I guess the world almost came to an end, but not anymore ;D
Fair rnough you old pain in the ass , you say correctly, I just had a quick dab at the guy. Fortunately, the guy HAS HUMOUR and didn't take it the wrong way. A guy that apreciates sarcasm is always welcome aboard the EAB. I wasn't being PRETENTIOUS, I was being extremely acid. |

if you write bollocks (technically spoken), it should be corrected. And 65k = 65000 is utter bollocks (if at all, 65k = 66560). If you do your favourite thing (i. e. calling people names) and call me a nitpicker or even a pain in the ass therefore, be my guest. But if you make such a great production of things (writing 24pt fonts etc and having the nerve of calling it "humoristic"), you should AT LEAST write stuff that is technically correct. Quote:

But "65k colors = 65000 colors" is true as in "65k apples = 65000 apples" !

As I said, TECHNICALLY wrong. Your example is non-technical, hence it's correct.

Whatever, whenever you want to pick a fight, you do it. I'll call it quits because it's useless to go against your demented logic. |
