Hooooo Blueberry (1988, Infogrames)

Hi,

I am looking for the Blueberry game's ADF, French or English version.
It seems to be available only in German.

Cheers,

It's still om KG's game request list. Even dlfrsilver doesn't have it, as it seems. Are there really French and English versions?

Just the three words at the top of the screen? I will check the german version and see if they are the same.

Yup, and here's the proof

Okay you have to trust me that I took the screenshot 2 minutes ago

Edit : Looked at the disk in WB and it's called 'Blueberry_Allemagne'. So there should be at least a french version

Belg would bite me hard for this , but thanks to EAGER, I was able to find an English version screenshot :

Infogrames Entertainment SA is a French company so it would be strange that the game wasn't sold in a few French shops at least. May be they withdrew it quickly from the market after noticing how bad the sales might have been.

So we can suppose only a bunch of fooled Germans have bought the original .

I've never seen a French or English version of this game, not even on the ST.

The WHDLoad version has german words in the top of the screenn? Very insteresting! I must look at it tomorrow if the WHDLoad slave doesn't need a registered key The game seems to be pretty lame though, so I doubt I will play it for a very long time

Wow pbareges! Great job you have done there
Seems like it's causes no problems if the data files are exchanged. Thank god for zero-terminated strings
Thanks for the ADF and I think your version will find its way into the TOSEC dat file

Floppy disk

@pbareges : Tabernacle de tabernacle, that's what I call an inspired idea ! Thanks.
If overcoming the language barrier in adventure games could always be so simple...

Repack is now on my web site, with the walktrough included.
Well, obviously for the French speaking gamer or the completist.

By the way, the exploration phase of Blueberry is not that bad, it's the action sequences that are truely awful .

If you were unaware of that fact, the woman behind Cockel Vision was one the most involved French manager in point&click adventures making.
She is responsible for the Gobliins series, and made a few more games with her software company. It's rumored her insistance for including female heroines in games may have come to the ears of the creators of Lara Croft.

There MUST be a French original version around!!

I can read TEUFFEL (which is actually "Teufel" in German ) which is a typical grammar mistake Francophones make when they translate to German from French!
