Good 2 player Amiga games?
Hi,
Got a mate coming round tomorrow, thought i might try and introduce him to some Amiga games. He's never played one, despite being a couple of years older than me. I don't have 2 mice, or else I'd have probably gone with Settlers and Lemmings, but i do have 2 SEGA Megadrive pads. He doesn't really like: Racing games (except Forza, as he feels it's the only racing game out there that feels realistic) My mind is just blank, preferably a game without long loading times, or slow gameplay, such as Scorched Tanks, amazing game, but takes too damn long to play a single round. If it's a PD game, it would be nice to be told where i could find it in ADF format, as i suck at dealing with PD games in just their general form. Thanks. |

Hi Dreedo,
I would definitely recommend Pang by Ocean or Swiv...Or failing that Worms The Directors cut is pretty cool for multiplayer Oh and forgot Gravity Power! (Amiga Format version) |

No problem. I was in a pretty similar situation not too long ago...My friend and I thought we would play some old school Amiga games but when you're starring a massive list the mind does tend to go blank and suddenly you can`t think! Well good luck finding some cool games.

Me and my brother are always coming back to the one and only:
Z-Out In our opinion one of the best 2-player shmups only superceded by Gradius V on the PS2. Also, we still have fun with Micro Machines, Moonstone (not simulateneous) and Dynablaster (only if we can get 4-5 players). |

Good choices there Jerry. Dynablaster is a lot of fun. Moonstone is two players when you fight each other, which is a cool. Castle crashers reminds me of moonstone.

I recommend Wiz N' Liz...
Fast platform mayhem where you complete to collect letters and then find the exit.. ... ignore the cuteness... its RELENTLESS! http://hol.abime.net/1740 [ Show youtube player ] (skip to 1:40 for gameplay, sadly just a one player video - two player is split screen) |
