Has any body have a working board yet using the CY7C1049CV33-15VXC SRAM Memory Chips from Kipper2K? A concern has been raised as to the low voltage range (+3.3V) on the device, and if the chips should be the +5V.

Does anyone have a copy of the english assembly manual translated by Kristian K for the initial GBA1000 Board, I lost mine when I moved.
I found a copy of the Document it is listed as Rev . 0.7. Last edited by shaf; 16 November 2014 at 18:09. Reason: Updated Info. |

I found a source for the Zorro Card connector. It is Mouser PN: 587-395-100-520-808 the Manufacturer is EDAC PN: 395-100-520-808. You will need to Trim off one of the flanges otherwise the IC 43 socket is blocked.

GBA 1000 - Just received a blank PCB
Looking for a complete parts list. I have a list of all the major parts but not of all the resistors and capacitors. I also do not have a location list.
Can anyone lend a hand? I would like to build this PCB. Just need the little details and any advice you can spare! Thanks! |

GALs can be programmed with many fairly inexpensive Chinese programmers and the LSI chip with a parallel cable (if you have an older PC available). Or someone can do them for you. I suggest browsing through this build thread on Amibay, it goes through most of the things you will probably encounter on the way:

Hi all,
I am having a hard time with boxes for these boards. If someone is willing to look after this then i will give them 2 free boards and they can look after the sale/distribution of the boards. THis way i can mail to one person and they can have the aggro of doing the admin (which i hate). All i want is $36 USD for each motherboard, and the mailing costs The person who wants to look after the selling etc gets 2 freebies, just send me an email. Look on my website for it (www.kipper2k.com) |

Kipper2k , perhaps an Amigan can pay for a populated board in advance? that may shift a couple; I imagine not everyone has the skills/time to populate them themselves, therefore take pre-order on populated boards me think and see what snags.

$36 damn. You're missing a trick there kipper, I just sent the guy building mine £100 to buy one of those Ebay ones, the guy on Ebay probably buys his boxes and still makes way more money. I know it's not very ethical that he's making such a profit for someone elses work but he's pretty much the only supplier so people are happy to pay. I'd happily pay the same for a Project Red PCB if it was available.
I think he already said in the other thread he'd tried his local pizza place and had had no luck. Last edited by Mick; 20 March 2018 at 18:43. |

How about vinyl record mailing boxes? Too small perhaps.

I guess I will be selling my incomplete board. I cannot seem to find any information on how to program the Lattice 1024 chip nor will anyone offer to sell or program one for me.
How much is this board worth? I have over $600.00 in parts not including my labor. I have no idea if it works since I cannot get a 1024 chip for it. Anyone interested? |
