ADF and LHA fun!

Was not sure where to put this one so its gone here!

Is there anyway in windows using whatever software (not in uae or anything) I can extract files from an ADF and compress them to an LHA archive?

WinRAR reads lha but will not compress to it.
I found an old copy of lha for dos but XP wont have it

Any sugestions??

Winzip

I think I used to do this with winzip... get lha.exe and set it up as an external program..

I don`t use winzip anymore to help me remember.. but I`m sure thats how I got it working

Why do you need LHA ? Use ZIP instead.

UltimateZip (http://www.ultimatezip.com/) supports LHA, but I can't remember if it compresses files in the format (rather than just decompressing).

ADFView features built-in support for ADFs in Windows, although it has limitations e.g. it can't copy subfolders from the root (maybe this has been fixed): http://www.viksoe.dk/adfview/

ADFLib might be worth checking out: http://perso.club-internet.fr/lclevy/adflib/

Even RAR supports .LHA, because LHA compression routines were incorporated into Microsoft .CAB files, the one thing I cant find yet, is multiple volume support from LHA files.
