Invisible mouse wall @ 1920x1080?
Hi I'm new to this forum, but not new to Amigas. I had a lot of them back in the days like A500, A1200, 2000, 3000 and 4000. Still I have an Amiga 3000 currently not working and a fully working A4000/040 with CV64. I hope I will enjoy my registeration
![]() Now my question is, I have setup Cybergraphics V3 and it's seems to work very well, even made a couple of "new" resolutions to suite modern monitors. 1280x768 and 1920x1080. Both displays nicely on my monitor. Now to my little problem @ 1920x1080, the mouse pointer can't move all the way to the right and bottom of the screen, seems like an invisible wall. Anyone knows why? A limitation of the mouse handling? Thanks! |

I wouldn't be surprised if this a bug or limitation of CGFX v3 which is very old. Resolutions this high were uncommon then for two reasons.
1) Few Amiga gfx cards were capable of displaying them in anything but 8 bit, if that. 2) CRTs which supported high resolutions were large and expensive. The newest P96 and CGFX v4 are better than CGFX v3. The CGFX v4 driver may be better for the C64 as it came with CGFX but P96 works fine and is free for end users. Maybe someone will come along with a workaround too. |

The OS itself doesn't have such a limitation so I would also suspect it's because of the old version of CGX. I use P96 on my A1200 with a 1920x1200 resolution with no issues.
