Eye of the Beholder for the C64.

Here's an amazing Eye of the Beholder port for the C64 (work in progress):

Did anyone actually watch the video? Or doesn't anyone think it's impressive?

Of course it is impressive. Was posted in the Indieretronews or Commodore 64 thread too some time ago. I'm looking forward to this EasyFlash C64 port.

No, it will be an EasyFlash version. Technically it helps for a better port (like Prince of Persia a few years ago.).

It's very impressive, for sure!

I wonder how far along they are by now. Last time I checked he was pretty close to being done...

He asks only six hours later. Its a working day man!

It is impressive but the screen updating will likely give me a head ache after a while.

20:37 isn't so early, right?

Anyway, great porting efforts like this make me wonder why we don't have more stuff of this quality level.

Because people are more interested in complaining about the lack of quality software on forums than doing something about it?

And who knows, maybe there's a lot of quality releases in the works, but the people involved are smart enough not to post about it on forums until they actually have something to show off?

Not complaining, just wondering why the C64 gets these impressive machine pushing conversions and we don't. Perhaps it's because projects on the Amiga have to be relatively big to be really impressive?

Let's hope so.

Anyway, I'd pay cash to see peoples faces back in the day when they saw EOB and Prince of Persia on the C64.

Incredible! I’d have loved that on my C64 back in the day.

To continue the off topic tangent... PoP was recently ported to the BBC Master and it’s pretty impressive!
