beating Populous

I have been stuck at World 492 BILYDOR for some time. I am wondering if anyone has tips on beating this level?

When you beat a stage, it skips to a higher one based on how well you played. So no, I didn't play all previous 491 levels, but I did play all the levels the game offered me. I was able to locate the mana counter, which I modified to beat certain cases.

Tried some higher levels, but this game is harder than I thought. It's still one of those games where the game mechanics are not 100% clear, even after reading the manual. Still fun tho!

Thanks for trying. I think Level 486 SWAKOPPAL is where my troubles began. See if you can beat that as well.

Did you got your solution if yes then please share you how you sold it. As a beginner I want to know.

Nope. Been meaning to try the level again. I had a problem where I finished the level and should have won, but for some reason (maybe the stuck mana counter) resulted with a loss.

I tried beating BILYDOR level again, but no luck. I resumed from WinUAE saved state and despite having more battle wins than the enemy I lost. This happened twice.

I then resumed another save state and jumped to BILYDOR, but couldn't win more battles to see if the other save state was faulty.

Need to take a break as the mouse clicking isn't good for the hand.
