Reformat and Repartition with newer SFS?

Sorry to go a little off-topic but do I have to re-add SFS to hdtoolbox and reformat my drives everytime a new version of SFS is released?

No idea - in the old guide it mentions sometimes having to re-partition and install, but to check the history first to see if it's necessary. If not, I assume you could simply use HDtoolbox to update the RDB.

Unfortunately, the new releases don't cover this issue so I'm as much in the dark as you. Considering people have been using much older versions hassle free I'd just stick with your current version killer. The new features don't seem critical. My A1200 is running an older version, 1205, and I've never felt like upgrading it - works fine. Once development ceases with SFS or it comes out of beta, I'll probably re-install then.

What do other SFS peeps do? Perhaps it's worth starting a new thread KG.
