Amiga Format cover disk.
I have an Amiga Format cover disk with the Chaos engine and Act of Valour on it.
When I put it in load up AMIDOS and say about DeCrunching Act of valour. It asks me to put in an empty disk which I do, and put the coverdisk back in . The will keep asking me to do this just about 15-20 swaps I assume something is not right. Any ideas? I just wanna play The Chaos Engine! |

You're welcome and fingers crossed it works Can you put ADF images on disks yet? If you can't do it on your A500+ I can create the ADF for you.

I don't know how to put one on a disk? why would I need to? I'm so surprised my dad managed to do all this for me when I was young, I always thought he was computer illiterate till a couple of years ago. |

Yep, indeed like that.
To put for example coverdisks from AMR or other free software on the internet back to real disks and use them in your A500+. Anyway, good luck with that coverdisk for now. |

I understand that I meant for this particular question! I would love to be able to pull games off of the net and play em, I did ask what the easiest way to do this was but by all accounts it is very difficult. I can't work out why there isn't a PC program that will allow you to format a floppy into an amiga format and load a ADF. I can;t see how it would be that hard unless the hardware is in capable of doing it. I mean you can format harddrive/pen drives to NTFS/FAT why not floppies to ADF! |
