If so, would you upload it please. It might be possible to fix it.
I'll answer with this post.

I've unpacked the DMS file correctly and I can't see anything obviously wrong with the resulting ADF image. The utility I used sometimes unpacks DMS files to give valid images where others have failed.

I've uploaded it to The Zone for you to compare with yours to see if there's any difference.

It's, unfortunately, exactly the same as the bugged disk 2 ADF in the TOSEC set.

Unfortunately, while.being 901120 bytes, te file.is almost empty.
This.means.that back in the day, the cracked disk has not been imaged correctly by the dms tool.......

And this likely means that this crack of Leander has been lost. I no longer have the disks I imaged from.

Are you referring to the Fairlight (Fixed) version?

No, to the Two Live Crew 3-disked version. The only drawback is that it does not save scores.

For anyone interested, the programmer Jon Burton uploaded a video explaining the protection in Leander. It's well worth a look.

Personally I would have thought most crackers would be suspicious of numbers like move.l #428,d4 at the end of a disk loading routine, as games generally had a 0 for success or 1 for failure simple value, not a bizarre number like that.

Presumably if you try and write the SPS version back to disk it will not work, unless there is a command to burn a hole in the disk somehow!

Yes burton just said bullshits about the laser hole thing. It was only used on an old Atari ST game.

hello, Legend didn't make a crack, they just put a trainer on the front, and there's actually 2 versions they put a trainer on: the 3-disk skidrow one (with bug) and the 4-disk company one, which is reported as working to the end, so you probably had the 4-disk company one with the Legend trainer on it
