X-Copy problem

Hey, all! I'm confused. I have used X-Copy on my A500 before successfully. I have a Gotek, internal floppy, and df0 switcher. No matter what I do, it tells me I don't have a DOS disk in the floppy drive when attempting to copy. I have no clue what would have caused this. I haven't made any changes and my drive is functional. Any ideas?

hey

So, you're copying i assume from an ADF image (Gotek) to the internal floppy (DF0), have you changed the jumper on the Gotek to set it as the required drive?

The df0 switcher seems to accomplish this in general. The issues is with the destination drive as there is no problem reading the source (whether disk or adf).

I had issues writing from ADF on Gotek to another drive, once i installed ADF to Disk, i just wrote ADF's to disk from that, and it worked. Although, i must admit, i am still confused, on what you're trying to do from where. Are you running the Gotek as DF1, and cant write to a physical disk? is this the issue, sorry to ask, just wanna be sure.

In general, yes that's the problem. ADF to Disk you say? Could you point me in the direction of this app please? Thanks so much!
