Fred Fish passed away Friday April 20th 2007 :(
According to www.amiga-news.de the man behind such great projects like Fish Disks and GeekGadgets died last friday, April 20 2007.

He did some great work for the Amiga community since early 1986 to 1994, no small feat to say the least!

I tried contacting him via the technical contact email of one of his many domains last year, but I never received an answer..
I just wanted to thank him for all the magic back when I was a kid.. Fish disks were definitely a big part of it all! Rest in peace and thanks for all the Fish disks. |

Damn! Another memorable name who's moved on to the after life.
I didn't really use the Fish disk series way back when but I do have the full set for posterity. |

I was in contact with him in recent months finalising sending me a dvd of the complete (or as complete as can be) backup of the geekgadgets collection...
I guess this is why things weren't completed... very sad news he never got to move onto new areas... :/ |
