Exile ECS (Galahad's 100% version) - Where to download

As promised I have temporarily hosted Galahad's 100% finished and completable version of the excellent EXILE. The copyright holders of this game have allowed legal free downloads of this game, but unfortunately the versions previously available were not 100% playable and crashed later in the game.

This version is completable right through to the end of the game.

If there is any inkling of any upset from thr copyright holders it will be taken down immediately.

PS - Some technical details for those interested:

Peter JM Irvin (the sole copyright holder of Exile) allowed AIAB to distribute the game freely. Unfortunately AIAB distributed a buggy version by accident (a version cracked by 'The Company'). If you have this version you may as well delete it as after you pass through the wind tunnel on the eastern side of the map, there is a second disk protection check which 'The Company's version fails.

Galahad released a completely cracked version which he verified himself. This version was completable right to the end of the game. This is the version I've hosted.

As more and more people hear about this version they ask for it to be placed in the Zone. With requests coming quite reguarly, I've decided to host it myself.

Another version which may be 100% completable was the cracked (and trained) version by Captain Paranoid. He released two versions, the later one was 100% completable (check the boot sector to see which version you have).

I repeat, if Peter JM Irvin would prefer the file to be only distributed by AIAB (which sadly no longer hosts ANY files?!) and the Exile fansites which also host 'The Company's version (not knowing any better), then it will be removed immediately. Thank you!

Galahad's 100% version of Exile has been requested so often, I'm beginning to think that it would save everybody a lot of time and effort if we could somehow make downloading it a requirement to sign up as an EAB member, and just get that out of the way right up front. Failing that, providing a link in the FAQ that leads to the download location would be a good alternative, though we'll still get frequent requests from those allergic to reading FAQ's.

Since the author himself knows about the game being available, and since HOL wouldn't actually be hosting the file (just a link), perhaps we could put a note/link in the HOL entry so they can download it after bringing up the entry?
