Hooooo No mouse or Joypad detected.

Using Win 10 pro 64 bit and FS-UAE has been working perfect, I just updated it to the latest stable release (not sure what version I was using) and now it is no longer detecting my mouse or wired 360 controller.

Have tried both 32 and 64 bit with no luck.

Under settings joystick nothing is showing and I have no in-game mouse control.

Any ideas?

Didnt toni, already post about this?
You have to add -norawinput I think.

Hi FOL I believe that was only for Xbox ONE controllers, I Tried it anyway along with -norawhid and neither worked.

Found an old version 2.6.2 and everything works fine there, But 2.8.0 = no in-game mouse, controller or keyboard support.

Just to clarify.
Pics 1+2 = 2.6.2 and pics 3+4 = 2.8.0 (Both x86 and x64) tested.

Nobody else seems to have mentioned this problem so it appears it may be just me that has the issue for some reason, despite multiple uninstalls/re-installs.

Maybe your bitten by this issue (not reproduced by me yet): "[2.7.14dev x86-64] Device helper crashes on startup" https://github.com/FrodeSolheim/fs-uae/issues/123

Can you try to run fs-uae-device-helper.exe manually and see if Windows reports it as crashing? Also, please attach fs-uae-launcher.log.txt.

(@FOL, -norawinput is a WinUAE parameter and does nothing for FS-UAE).

Maybe it only crashes when running with the
--list
parameter. Can you try creating a shortcut to fs-uae-device-helper.exe and, in properties, add
--list
and try running it via the shortcut?

(The launcher log does not record process status code, unfortunately, but I can at least see that the launcher does not get any output from fs-uae-device-helper.exe).
