Old library is EOL. I don't think I will update it any further. New library is 2 weeks away.

Sonnet 7200 PCI programming

So I ordered a spare carrier for a Apocalypse and when it arrived it was a bit more complicated than I thought it would be

Has anybody else used this model of PCIPMC Carrier?

It did come with its manual which I have uploaded for you clever people to look at, who may know the correct settings for the board to work with the Apocalypse.

One thing I did noticed in the manual is it shows a way to mount a fan to this PMC carrier which would be good for the cooling of these PMC PPC's

here's hoping and some pictures to

It's one with its own bridge. Mediators cannot look past bridges. So not supported.

Beta

Fiddled a bit with C. This is the result. It will probably not work on your system.

Taking a brake with this until my AA3000+ materializes.

As in initial experimental PPC support for the Firebird? Cool! Think I should urge the guy who will build my AA3000+ to finally start it

Firebird/Firestorm support is one of the goals.

My AA3000+ is still missing some components. Especially looking out for the scandoubler switch which apparently is out of stock until end of September.

The question is: Will Firebird work properly with original A4000 motherboard?

That's one to ask Cosmos; he's making 4000D daughterboards with the Firestorm firmware that works on the Xilinx cplds. So theortetically anything which can be made to work on AA3000+ Firebird should work on these 4000 boards...

If FireBird doesn't work properly in the original A4000D mobo, I won't have a faster Quake 3 on my Amiga

Hese has a A4000 prototype of the Firebird as well. Not sure about the status, but I believe he's considering building a batch. The AA3000+ firebird physically does not fit in the A4k if I'm not mistaken.
