Amiga CD32 keyboard

Hello,

I was just wondering what options are available, for using a keyboard with a CD32.

I can only seem to find PS/2-to-Amiga adapters around the web, and I'm pretty sure one of them for a 2000/3000/4000, coupled with a DIN to Mini-DIN adapter would work.

Thanks.

You got 3 options

1. The adpater you mentioned
2. An original amiga 2000/3000/4000 coupled with a DIN to Mini-DIN adapter. Some 4000 keybaord will not need this
3. CDtv keyboard. You will need to open it up and swap some wires

For the record I just tried this today regards my current hardware project...

Amiga 1000 keyboard hardwired into AT 5Pin DIN to PC-Key 1200 (does not work).

My old Silicon Graphics (SGI) AT keyboard PS2 into 5Pin DIN adapter to PC-Key 1200 (does work but without reset of course - which is now wired to a momentary toggle switch on my facia plate).

Has anyone tried hooking up a A500 keyboard to a CD32?

The lyra2 is what you need, lets you connect a variaty of keyboards up to the cd32.

amigakit.com sell them.

Cool, thanks. I'll give that a go when it arrives. Just that bit cheaper than the adaptor method.
