CPU Idle works good with 68020 CE
By pure coincidence, always when I disable CE mode, and I move the CPU Idle slider some 4 units, and I change WinUAE back to CE mode, the emulation seems to make much better use of the host CPU speed, WITHOUT any FPS drops!
Could that side effect be used to give a nice speed boost for WinUAE? What do you think, Toni? Or that is a bad hack that not works at all? [EDIT. Hmm. Really THAT was coincidence. I didnt saw that the CPU speed changed to 28 MHz, too... . Bad Leandro, bad... ] Last edited by Leandro Jardim; 30 April 2014 at 16:24. |
