I can inform you that your 888 runs fine on xbox. Just as well as 100 & 200. I did however turn off music as my dvd-drive is crappy and it stuttered some. I will simply copy the 888-iso to hdd and run it directly from there. Sweet stuff. Great work man!
Thanks for the tip on e-uae, wil try that after an impending retrogaming session now! |

Frostwork, real nice work. The cd32-444 also runs great on xbox. But; BY GOD! what a strange game Bucktooth buck is! Great fun though! I really enjoyed (and will continue to) your work. Thanks for keeping the Amiga 'alive'.

Hi!
Even if there's is a packer, which lets the boot-structure of the iso survive, I couldn't upload it into the zone, as there a re only lhas.lzhs and zips allowed.... I'm going to zip or lha it and you'll have to make the bootable on your own,OK? Hey, it's at least a little bit training on making bootable-cd32 isos (BTW, I'm not sure if this little "game" is worth to be burned onto a cd, but at least it opens the title-easter-egg for the "888 vs. merv" (if you did not already found it of course...) |

Many, many thanks for your games compilation CDs Frostwork. They are absolutely amazing and I'm speechless about the 888. There're so many games I didn't get to play on the Amiga because I more often than not only owned a C64 and I noticed releases such as Fuzzball as well as Parasol Stars not seeing the light of day on C64, but I now get to play them. So glad you included Manic Miner (one of my all-time favs) on there and I really am spoilt for choice. I've not scratched the surface and there're just so many gems that it's truly fantastic. Anyone who's interested in amassing almost every CD32/CDTV release might like to check this out:

This is NOT good, since CD32 does have AGA, but the game seems to have been unable to detect it. Last edited by andreas; 08 May 2005 at 13:14. |

Stimmt
There are several whdload-aga games which give a similar output requester: Either it's somehow OS-related (likely) or they don't like the akiko-chip (akiko correct?) |

narud17, you don't have to go into KombatSanta's FTP to download CD32-888 just scroll to the top of this screen until you see Parts1-12 which are hyperlinks and click on them one after the other to download them all. In any case you'd have to know how to use FTP and it's interesting that you raised BiTtorrent because there's nothing like that round here unless you meant my last post. The one on FTP isn't an image anyway and I'd like to say that I got a corruption on a file when I was extracting it.

I could have sworn it was plain file ISO though technically I suppose it's still an image, but harder to burn and I guess my download didn't go well for me to get a corruption on one of the files extracted.
I must say your FTP is great with a good quality selection of ISOs KombatSanta and if you know where I can get Insight: The Living Body then I'd be hugely grateful. Like Echostryker I had only been thinking about getting a CD32 until lately and obtained a spanky new one last year. Echostryker should get one from eBay as mine came in immaculate condition boxed in Spectacular Voyage. Where do you live narud17? If you live in the UK then I'd be happy to send you a copy FREE OF CHARGE of course. Steer clear of eBay when it comes to this as how lousy it seems type CD32 in search on there and you'll find CD32 444 compilation going for sale on there for about a tenner. If anyone's to be making any money out of this it's the genius who put it together and it makes me frown. |

Hi!
It ABSOLUTELY SUCKS that people sell my compis on ebay and get rich with it... I wish them all the worst Mmmh, I wouldn't say you have to be a genius to make those compilations, you simply have to be crazy enough to spend so MUUCH time on it... |
