My Commodore 65 for sale.
I know it's not Amiga, but it's still a Commodore.
Located in Chattanooga, TN, USA, but worldwide shipping (minus Africa and the Middle East). My car died and I'm selling this not because I want to, but I need to. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:L:LCA:US:1123 Later, dabone |

I have reported the seller of this auction to Ebay. His user name is zebeedee2009 A pity because I really wanted the item but I don't like being scammed either. Looks like I am not the only victim. I accused the seller of shill bidding and he cancelled my bids. Last edited by daro2096; 14 February 2013 at 00:32. Reason: update |

He has also ended all his auctions.
My message to him via ebay. "Dear zebeedee2009, I know you are shill bidding. I have checked your other items and also one item you sold last month. You seem to have this one bidder who ONLY bids on your items, which retracts their bids making them the highest bidder. Bid retraction and cancellation history Bidder Action / Explanation Date of bid and retraction Member Id: (me)( 709) Cancelled: £80.00 Explanation:. Bid:13-Feb-13 19:34:47 GMT Cancelled: 13-Feb-13 23:27:40 GMT private listing -- bidders' identities protected Retracted: £85.00 Explanation:Entered wrong amount Bid:13-Feb-13 17:33:31 GMT Retracted: 13-Feb-13 19:49:53 GMT Very interesting that this one bidder who suddendly retracted their bid when my bid was at a certain level? Here is the auction history of your item, Amiga A1200 Accelerator - E-Matrix 1230-50 Bid retraction and cancellation history Bidder Action / Explanation Date of bid and retraction Member Id: _***o( 379) Retracted: £85.00 Explanation:Entered wrong amount Bid:13-Feb-13 22:07:50 GMT Retracted: 13-Feb-13 22:08:48 GMT And this one, Intel i5 2500K CPU with ASUS mainboard GFX card and 16gb DDR3 RAM Bundle? from your feedback Bid retraction and cancellation history Bidder Action / Explanation Date of bid and retraction Member Id: _***o( 379) Retracted: £295.00 Explanation:Entered wrong amount Bid:02-Jan-13 22:29:55 GMT Retracted: 02-Jan-13 22:51:00 GMT Member Id: _***o( 379) Retracted: £239.00 Explanation:Entered wrong amount Bid:02-Jan-13 22:51:50 GMT Retracted: 05-Jan-13 15:53:31 GMT Seems like _***o(379) likes to bid on your items and retract his bid at will? Plus according to his bidding history he has ONLY bid on your items. Why haven't you added him to block bidders list? I would have done if the same buyer bid on my items and retracted his bid three times. Come on, I am not stupid. I know when a seller is shill bidding. And you did it to me." |

Report it to eBay. They will act in under 24 hrs. I had the same deal with some Amiga stuff and got a second chance offer within seconds of the auction ending. Checked the history, reported him and the shill bidding account was closed and all his bids retracted on his stuff.

He claims he has got buyers outside of Ebay. He rubbed it in my face. He even talked about this thread so he must be a member here. |

eBay have been known to close accounts for less, that will piss him off.
There's so many more genuine sellers, and soon you get to realise who they are. Seeing a broken Amiga 500 pushed to over £30 whilst a working one sells at the same time for £7 illustrates this. A bare CDTV went for £21 earlier! |

the thing is you only need one or two sellers like that on ebay and it puts peaple off buying and even selling stuff on there sometimes.
there not all bad,its just a very small minority. |

A CDTV keyboard that was spares went for over £35 the other day. I was interested in the keys but not at that price. A working one was over £40.

The Adventures of Maddog Williams in the Dungeons of Duridian
Dear Amiga Fans,
I am selling what is probably one of the rarest Adventure Games ever released for the Amiga. I am talking about: The Adventures of Maddog Williams and the Dungeons of Duridian by Gamecrafters. If you are interested, please visit my auction here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/The-Advent...item4851423e1c Starting bid is £ 0.01 with no reserve. Enjoy. Indeed you are right, The Adventures of Maddog Williams and the Dungeons of Duridian seams really to be the rarest of games. Only two hits on a search. (ok, i didn't search.)
Just saying you might want to edit the "title" as it's "in" and not "and". Good luck selling. Also, for those interested in the game... But not looking to own the physical copy, it's free for PC / MAC, here. (They also made it available for Amiga, but the host seams to be missing nowdays.) |
