Upgrades for my A500

Just bought a rather good working condition 1mb A500 1.3 off ebay and now want to expand it with a CF/CD-ROM/RAM, what's the best options out there?

I've seen the ACA500 and quite tempted but noticed it blocks the side expansion (which I don't think is too much of a problem) but are there any other CF/CD-ROM/RAM expansions out there?

I still have a CMI 16MHz Processor Accelerator for the A500 so ideally all I need is something for CF/CD-ROM/RAM that allows booting off 1.3 ROM.

If there's nothing that fulfills this then might endup having to go with the ACA500!!

Wait for ACA500. Make sure you have 1 MB chip ram, not 512 KB chip and 512 KB slow ram.

You need to see if you Mb is REV5 or REV6, mostly couple traces to cut and some solder blobs.
Let me find some links... http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?t=4722&page=4

Err.. Looks a bit complicated, do I really have to do that? Don't mind soldering just need to know what the hell i'm doing

Just checked the trapdoor RAM and it's a RocTec RM550C-F with a corroded battery, so not putting that back in, so now it's a basic unexpanded A500

Just took shielding off and it's also a REV 6A

Looks like the Zeus68k is probably the best choice.

I also unsoldered the dodgy RTC Battery from the RAM board, board back in the A500 and still working so no real damage.
