Hoffman won the tracker competition, and whilst I don't want to be a big head, I suspected he would do and correctly guessed which one was his as there was no names whilst they were running.
Have to say, the 4 channel Amiga Protracker mods without exception were better than the multi channel mods put out by other people. Hoffman did far more with his 4 channel mod than others did with 8 channel. For those that don't know, Professional Tracker was Hoffmans, and I also liked the second entry, Wonka Honk. Well done Ian, quality stuff, and not that drum and bass shite you love either! |

Revision was a blast, even better than its previous incarnations. Excellent releases, awesome people (hello Britelite ), good food, a visit to the hospital (lesson learned: falling down with a beer bottle = not a good idea but at least I marked the way to my car with lots of blood :P), all in all it was a (long) weekend well spent.
You've been there? |

I agree it was the best Revision so far, almost as good as Breakpoint ;o) I liked new live-code compo, there more live concerts, maybe I would prefer more demo projection (if there were demos, 90% were from the Smash production, why?) like on Demodays. But still nice atmosphere, nice people around, great Amiga and oldschool compos.
And when I was walking around, I counted about 15 or maybe more Amiga machines which is more then usual ;o) |
