AGA problems

Hi there.

I followed this guide for setting up the HD and all the settings for WinUAE

http://guide.abime.net/

Im having a problem with Jurassic Park AGA and Fears AGA WHDLOAD versions.

I have them on the HD, I click to load them but I get the error AGA chipset required. Now I have 2 other AGA games installed and they work fine. I have double checked and AGA is ticked plus the other 2 AGA games work.

The kickstart rom I am using is KS ROM v3.1 (A1200) rev 40.68 (512k) plus with all the settings from the above link. I also tried this one as well KS ROM v3.0 (A1200) rev 39.106 (512k).

Many Thanks for any help

Almost forgot the games came from here http://amiga.magix.name/index.php

You need to copy the Kickstarts Folder from the skick345 archive to DH0:/Devs.
Then make a copy of the 3.1 Rom. Rename the KS ROM v3.1 (A1200) rev 40.68 (512k) to "Kick40068.A1200" and copy it also to the Kickstarts folder.

Have you copied the 3.1 Kickstart with the exact filename as shown on your screenshot to the Kickstarts folder?

The Path ist DH0 : DEVS/KICKSTARTS

I guess you completely missunderstood me. You need the Kickstarts folder on your virtual harddisk. No need for changing your WinUAE setup. Copy the KICKSTARTS folder from the skick345 archive together with the renamend 3.1 romfile to DEVS. With system root folder i meant of course the emulated amiga, not windows.

You should also copy the Kickstart 1.3 (34.5) to the DEVS/KICKSTARTS folder. The correct name is "Kick34005.a500". You will need it someday, trust me. Happy gaming.
