Well done! Was that with a driver/wood?

As Lines pointed out on Lemon the irons are quite good for landing onto the putting green, as they have pretty good backspin to slow/reverse the ball. I find this easier to roll the ball in from a distance than the woods, which you have to land quite short.

I couldn't resist having one more go at Avenel since Parp overtook me. I choked big time in the second half on two 8 foot putts. One swerved unexpectedly and the other one trickled to a halt 1 foot away.

The last two birdies were both from 2-4 feet, with the prior shots hitting the pole but not dropping in. Lady luck did not smile upon me today!

This was LinesMachine's game. Well deserved GOLD medal due to a superhuman -11 on Sawgrass and a -9 on Avenel!

But Parpala came really close with incredible -8s on both courses. SILVER for him.

Finally arcanist - the best EAB player with a -6 on Avenel and a -7 on Sawgrass - takes the BRONZE.

Lemon wins this round 68-58 in the team battle and shortens EAB's lead to 7-6.
