EMAP were the only company who ever replied to me about cover scans and they sent me a written letter giving me permission to use about 30 pages and 3 cover disk images on my site.

With a "if we dont actually own it then you're on your own legally" disclaimer.

P.S. Forget CU DVD, I want an AMR hard drive... the entire site backed up to a cheap £40, 500GB external drive. Just in case something happens to it

got mine tuesday , excellent work, especially for those of us who bought the originals, great nostalgia trip.
Best quote yet is " those of you who own a modem may not have come across the internet" from issue 2 . To think how far we have come...

Got my copies last week. I was a little disappointed to find DVD 1 had come loose in its case and as a result it was wearing quite a few deep scratches!!. However I was relieved to find that all files copies across to the HD and I was able to back it up again.

Talk about yesteryears !! I will never stop feeling young !!

THANKS

Send a message via ICQ to ElectroBlaster
Ordered one of these fine collections four days ago and it arrived today. I havent tested the dvd's yet but there was a nice little courtesy note in there which I thought was a really nice little touch.

Im stunned too think these guys really killed 11 scanners lol. Anyway im glad there are people who will take the labourious task of scanning magazines like this. Im defo going to buy more collections

Thumbs down

Well, still no reply from Mort and still no disks received...
I guess I will file a complaint for fraud and request my money back from Paypal, I thought treating myself with some nostalgia fun (ordered CU, CVG & ZZAP dvd's, almost 50 quid) but now realized got myself in a situation I hate: having to run after my dosh and no communication at all. DAMN

HELLLOOOOOOO???????

Hi dirkees,

I am not aware of any other EAB users involved in this project. Mort's is the only name mentioned on the compliments slip and packaging which came with my discs.

However, I do have a return address for the package.

A PM gets you the details.

HD, bah! Put the shower cap with electrodes on my noggin and begin transfer. ... barring that the HD is a good idea.

I'm in for AF and COMPUTE!s Gazette. In complete collections.

Didn't it go something like this....?

Future = Amiga Power/Amiga Format.
EMAP = CU Amiga/The One.
Europress = Amiga Action/Amiga Computing.
correct, Future also published Amiga Shopper

If you're not able to email Mort directly, simply post your problems on the zzap message board and it will be quickly dealt with.

I guarantee this will be a genuine mistake or a problem with postage; these guys do NOT rip people off.
