Classic WB ADV questions

Hi!

Have just upgraded to a Blizzard 1230 mk IV with 16Mb of Ram, from a Blizzard 1220/4. Having some issues with system freezing on me when scrolling thru folders with lots of folder and when trying to format my CF card etc. Thinking it might be a memory problem on the Blizz. Is there a Memtest software of some sort in Classic WB ADV? I could've transfered Memtest to the Miggy if my CF-card for the PCMCIA wasn't on the fritz, getting some I/O error when trying to transfer files to it on the Peecee. Transcend 133 4Gb card, anyone else had this experience?

Thanks in advance Guys'n'Gals!

Managed to Make ADF(.hfe file) from the LHA archive using the HxC floppy emulator, transfered MemCheck. Memory checks out ok.
So maybe I should do a total reinstall of the WB with the new HW installed, and see if it keeps freezing in certain tasks... What do you guys think???

Yes, you should install it again. I can use CWBAdvSP with 4mb of ram.

Why don't you use a Cf-USB (multicard reader) adapter and you copy the files with WinUAE?

Ok, i'll try reinstalling CWB when I have some time over. First i'll try to get kippers ide-adapter so I don't have to open the beast everytime I want to change HD. Took me ages figuring out and installing CWB last time

Been using USB-multicard reader/writer to write to CF on Peecee. But I wrote above my CF seems corrupt, at least on my peecee, I can't use this route(not even in WINUAE). Will try on my gf:s computer tonight to rule out that my peecee is defect!
Is it possible that a CF can be destroyed after only a month of minimal use? If it is broken I'll try to find the receipt and then I'll swap it out for a new one!

Thanks Retro

Thought I would close this thread with some info for future reference.

Wasn't anything wrong with CF-card or Amiga, the Multicard-USB reader was corrupt. Bought a new HAMA dedicated CF reader/writer, and now everything works perfect or close to it!
