Doesn't work here at all, I was using fullscreen mode and thought it was that, so I changed it to windowed mode, tried it again and I still lose the screenshot window, the only way to get it back is to close WinUAE and start it again from fresh.

Perhaps I'm using the wrong Beta, WinUAE 3.6.0 (Public Beta 11,2017.12.10) 64-bit)?

Just a Side Note, my ADF's are contained in Zip folders, and the log states that that's a possible box art location, but that appears to be only after the restart.
Code:
WinUAE 3.6.0 (Public Beta 11, 2017.12.10) 64-bit (10.0.16299 [1]) 64-bit 9.15.200 4 18:56 0
(c) 1995-2001 Bernd Schmidt - Core UAE concept and implementation.
(c) 1998-2017 Toni Wilen - Win32 port, core code updates.
(c) 1996-2001 Brian King - Win32 port, Picasso96 RTG, and GUI.
(c) 1996-1999 Mathias Ortmann - Win32 port and bsdsocket support.
(c) 2000-2001 Bernd Meyer - JIT engine.
(c) 2000-2005 Bernd Roesch - MIDI input, many fixes.
Press F12 to show the Settings Dialog (GUI), Alt-F4 to quit.
End+F1 changes floppy 0, End+F2 changes floppy 1, etc.

Log (disabled): 'C:\WinUAE3000\winuaelog.txt'
Right, on first run of WinUAE the log doesn't specify a possible location for boxart, it always finds it and loads them, but after restart it does specify possible location for boxart, loads them but doesn't display the window. I only discovered this by pure chance when I was adding screenshots and started a game by accident and needed to restart WinUAE to carry on adding them.

EDIT: I've even unzipped the adf, removed the archive from the folder, and tried that, no difference, and finally, un-installed Amiga Forever in case that was causing some interference, once again no difference Am I missing something here?

Ok, I usually run in "Fullscreen" mode but for the purpose of taking title / screenshots, I've changed all my configs temporarily to "Windowed".

When using "Windowed" there is no issue for me doing the procedure you mentioned, but if I set "Fullscreen" then I also loose the panel after "Restart"

It's strange because I lose it for both windowed and fullscreen. I'm not at home right now so I can't try anything more until tomorrow.

Thanks for looking into it DamienD

Fixed. (Note that not showing it while emulation is running in fullscreen mode is by design because GUI may not be fully visible in this mode)

Phew!!! Finally finished taking title / screenshots for all my games / configurations

You can see the list of games here.

The following criteria was used when taking the images:

a) 720 x 576 window.
b) No scaling.
c) No filters / masks / scanlines.
d) Centering on.

Also, the following rules were applied for:

a) Games without a title screen: 2 x screenshots.
b) Disks that have 2 or more games: 2 x screenshots.

I've uploaded a file "WinUAE_Title-SShot.rar" to the EAB File Server under "/~Uploads/DamienD" for anyone that wants to use them

Thanks Damien Your images will certainly be replacing what I have, if not all of them

I used this method below:-
Quote:
I borrowed the "Double Barrel Screenshot" from HOL and created an action in Photoshop to split the image into two separate layers, reduce the overall width by half, rename each layer to either "___SShot" or "___Title", export each layer as a file using the extension .png, all with one click, then I had to manually select the correct folder and click save.
And yes, I had to manually edit the script that saves layers to files to remove that annoying numbering it insists on adding.

This action certainly cut out a lot of the work by, load image, click action, wait 1 second, select folder, click save and on to the next one

My friend; as soon as WinUAE v3.6.0 is released I'm going to give you my complete collection

You can then test, see if you like it etc. and if not then just discard

Thanks DamienD

I guess this is now in the hands of Toni and all the beta testers. I guess there's really no hurry for me tbh, I have too much work to do, what with working double shifts, having to do all the work in the house because of Mrs DH's condition, I'm kinda struggling to find time to get on here this side of Xmas

Did I ever thank you for recommending Notepad++ to me? I've found it so useful that I think I'll make a large donation to the author. Thanks, in any case.

Yeah Notepad++ comes in very handy for me when needing to adjust settings in my 2290 configuration files in a matter of seconds

...but it doesn't allow for deletion / addition of lines

For this task, I use UltraEdit

Heya Toni,

Can I just say once again how awesome this "boxart" panel is!!!

When you consider previous versions with just a list:

Compared to how it is now with the new feature:

It's absolutely awesome!!!

...and they way you have implemented this is sooooo excellent and works perfectly

On a side note, when taking all my 2290 title / screenshots manually, it meant that I had to load / test all configurations. Some of these were created back in 2005 in pre v1.0.0 and all are good. This is testament to your hard work over the many, many years and still providing backwards compatibility for configs

Bah, this afternoon I updated a few titles / screenshots that I wasn't happy with:

... Cannon Fodder 2
... Donk! - The Samurai Duck! AGA
... Ikari Warriors
... Jetstrike
... Mr Beanbag! - Burns Night Special AGA
... Mr Beanbag! AGA
... Silver Eagle

Probably only ransom1122 and DH have grabbed these anyway but... I've now updated the file "WinUAE_Title-SShot.rar" on the EAB File Server under "/~Uploads/DamienD"

Can you tell that I have today off, it's a typical cold / wintery London day; so I've made a few more slight adjustments?

Title / screenshots have been updated for these games:

... Barbarian II (Psygnosis)
... BattleShips II
... Borobodur - The Planet of Doom
... BreakOut Revolution [AGA]
... Carrier Command
... Chaos Strikes Back
... Chrome
... Clockwiser [AGA]
... Crime Inc [unreleased] [demo]
... Cross Country
... Dungeon Master
... Elite Advanced
... Mr. Nutz - Hoppin' Mad
... Nuxelia [AGA] [unreleased] [demo]

I *think* that should be it now

I've now updated the file "WinUAE_Title-SShot.rar" on the EAB File Server under "/~Uploads/DamienD"

...but to save DH / ransom1122 the trouble; attached is only the updates.
