Hmm will the showing of ZIP files also mean that the corrupt ones will be shown as corrupt since it can't open them?

I liked the old layout better.
Reason: the new one feels a bit too chaotic. A little reorganization of the layout would come in handy. The worst thing about it is the grey background. I think the layout looks more steady if you let this stay white as well (it's already separated by a different font, so it doesn't need a different color). |

if you were more present on the board, you should have seen there was a lot of update about the layout (6th version ATM) and it is NOT yet finished, there will be more change...

BTW, I don't understand the "use a non-proportional font for the zip-listing..." ?
here is my current zone view: |

héhé, I have worked hard to implement this after your request,
and before I have the time to finalize the layout, you frag me without any greetings that's why I don't have accepted this critics with smile |

I don't have any problem with opera 6.0
maybe you should update your web-brower in order to have a better CSS support. note: you must have the "Terminal" or "Courier New" font installed into your system. (common one) |

I like that a bit better. Easy to see what is files and what is listing. Also like the way the older files aren't completely listed with contents. Doesn't cause such big pages.

It's an useful implementation for sure but it does look a bit chaotic,
If viewing the file details could be toggled on and off, the problem would be solved. The new 3mb limit encourages us to zip multiple adf files in one archive and it can also help keeping the zone layout tidy, so keeping the zone clean is up to uploaders. |

Should I add dhtml on-the-fly-mouseover file detail instead of static one ?
@s4m: did you check if you have the "terminal" or "Courier New" fonts into your font directory ? |

Viewing file details with mouseover is a good idea but it can mess up if there are too many files in an archive (which will seldomly be the case). Are date and time details really necessary?
