Lemon Amiga OnLine !

The greatest C64 site Lemon just got a little (or big?) brother :

http://www.lemonamiga.com/

I think it is well worth checking out... a great site, even though we do already have the EAB forum and HOL. It is always nice to see some healthy "competiton"

Lemon Amiga Launched

The Lemon Amiga website has been launched!

http://www.lemonamiga.com/

It's the Amiga equivalent of Lemon64, with a database, forum and other nice features.

I'm sure it will be of the same quality. It certainly looks similar.

For once in your lifetime you can try to express your true feelings in public instead of remaining as an agent of political correctness. It feels better so I strongly recommend it.

I like the site, but not the forums. The good thing about the site is the interactivity, as in being able to write game reviews, vote on games etc...

Some of the voting is a bit lame and one-sided at the moment but will level out over time I imagine.

I've even done some voting/game comments.

I await to see RCK's response with HOL 2

The design seems a little kiddy for my likeing. The design suits the C64 but when focused on the Amiga seems a little out of place....

I see RCK feels competition on the cartoon front, and thus has recently inserted a horrid snowman into the EAB logo !!

With loads of Amiga sites shutting down I think it's great to have a new one open. I've never been on that forum so I can't comment on some of your experiences.

One interesting thing however I'm not sure all of you are aware of is this site had help from the EAB community too.

http://www.lemonamiga.com/help/credits.php

Going by the past skirmishes, it's certainly not a full blown EAB vs Lemon war, just a minor battle.

well really nice website anyway.

What did you mean to say here and basically call me but thought you'd be smart replacing it with dots? I'm gonna call you a prick without the dots and as LemonAmiga is such a cartoonish looking child friendly site prick was one of the lightest words I thought to use. So don't worry you don't need to join any dots. I actually practiced a bit of self-censorship there and thought for a few seconds, something you should do perhaps when you post.

The author asked for comments on his piece of work. What was I supposed to do? Lie?

As you state you've not even seen the thing he posted yet so I don't know what you are doing in this thread even talking about it!

Better than that, I can post

I've also written a few game comments too, mainly out of boredom and because HOL doesn't allow us to do these things (yet?).

I'm awaiting Kim to add the game Biplane Duel so I can write my one and only review.

I spoke to **SOMEONE** yesterday and he was desperate to head on over to LA and meet all his old friends and contribute, yet it seems there are still "connection issues" between the Middle East & Sweden.
