WHDload Wayne Gretzky Hockey Problem

Thanks to a fellow forum member I am able to run Wayne Gretzky Hockey (WHDload) version in WinUAE. The intro screens are restored including the puck breaking the monitor glass...

However, the penalty and goals scored celebration screens are garbled.
I have tried various configurations of chipsets, ram etc without success.

Is this a bug in the WHDload version or the fact I'm using an emulator for this package?

I can't see any graphic glitches in Wayne Gretzky Hockey WHDLoad. Are you using the latest WinUAE? Which config settings? Have you tried the "NoCache" tooltype in the game icon?

I am using WinUAE 1.3.3 emulating an A1200 with 8Mb FAST RAM, 68020,
AGA, 2Mb Chip, 16 Mb Z3-FAST and 3.0 ROMS. Since Wayne Gretzky Hockey needs slow mem, I added 0.5 Mb.

In game icons I added 'NOCACHE', but still the same graphic glitches. Rest of the game plays just fine.

Retro Nerd, what cofiguration are you using?

I don't use slow- or fastmem, only Z3 fast. The WHDLoad games needs no slowmem, maybe it works better without it.

Very very old thread.. but looks like I have same problem as OP, even after all this time - corrupt gfx during intermission videos (see pic). I've tried all relevant args, switching CE mode on/off, change cpu type etc..
Could somebody confirm that it works at all? to test just set wayne to control plr 1 and wait for a score.

Had a quick look, game tries to restore Copperlist 2 which contains invalid/wrong data which is most probably the reason for the graphics bugs. I'll see about updating the patch.

I have fixed this [during a very boring meeting at work

], the graphics problems were indeed caused by the trashed copperlist. For now I'm simply restoring the copperlist but this is a mere workaround (which does its job though), once I find the real reason why the copperlist is trashed I'll update the patch again.

The updated patch is available on the WHDLoad site.
