that slightly looks like an A1000, but that could be any generic pentium desktop from 1997 too.

Apart from the spacing between the 3 keys to the right of the space bar, it looks spot on like A1000.

PC keyboards have an extra column of keys in the numeric area, which also are missing here.

idk, those lines where the 256KB RAM trapdoor sits are pretty unique, I'm having trouble thinking of or finding a picture of an IBM compatible that looks quite like this desktop.

Maybe it was an unconscient reference to the A1000 then Designers often refer to "pop culture".

I remember an episode with "the biggest humanity mistakes" featuring VCS 2600 Atari "ET" game (yes, the one which was buried in the desert)

It wouldn't surprise to be honest. One of our favourites in this house, regular show, has featured laser discs a few times and their go to console is the sega master system.

In this case it does look like an A1000 so I'd suggest it is.

On an Amiga note we noticed the other night what appears to be Amiga keyboards, assumed A2000 keyboards in Red Dwarf Season 5 Episode 1.

That's Holoship, and Red Dwarf used Amigas a lot at this time in the show's history.

In the episode Terrorform, a silent, typed conversation is carried out early on, and you can see the Amiga's Topaz font quite clearly on the screen. Recognisable to any Amigan!
