Write HardFile To SD/CD/HD
Ciao Toni (sorry for my usual and strange observations) i found out that HardFiles are disk images, with the programs "DiskImager and USB Image Tool" I have written some of my Hardfiles (to make them recognize renamed extensions from .hdf to .img) on HD-External/Pendrive and then to my amazement these two devices have booted and started the system on WinUAE perfectly

I suppose you are re-discovering America again. It's nothing weird/unusual that image handling tools writes correct images, really!
 I'd say that weird/wrong will be opposite situation, when written images will not work correctly. |

It's just wording, isn't it?
The complete name of such files is hard disk image file. To make it shorter you could use any of hard disk image hard disk file disk image file disk image hard file and probably more. |
