A1200 Tower Not Booting Up
After finally getting around to finishing my A1200 tower project and booting it up every thing worked great with the Lyra keyboard adapter and Indivision AGA LCD adapter working ok but after switching it off to make some minor adjustments the next time I turned it on all I got was a black screen, the HDD and CD ROM were still starting but no picture.
So I unplugged the drives and tried again still no picture, Then I tried with my sons Amiga power supply instead of the PC power supply and I and it worked ok and booted to the kickstart screen so went out and brought a brand new ATX supply but still got a black screen so I'm thinking my problem mite have something to do with the ATX to Amiga cable that I brought hope someone can help me with this. PS The ATX to Amiga Cable I brought off Amiga Maniac |

Sounds like you tracked down the problem already. Did you try the ATX to Amiga cable + PC Power supply combo on your sons amiga?
Melbourne Amiga User Group meeting this Thursday night, if you want to lug your tower down to Moonee Ponds anytime after 8pm, Im sure someone will be able to help. Kellaway Ave Neighbourhood Centre 5 Kellaway Ave, Moonee Pond P.S. Swap meet and auction night this month

Didn't think of trying the PC power supply on my son's A600 will give it a go, As far as the Amiga User Group I don't have my own transport and wouldn't even think about using public to get from where I am just the other side of Dandenong to Mooney Ponds too many scumbags on the trains of a night time these days.
